Last night the Monroe County Legislature voted to opt out of a short term rental registry.
Only 8 Legislators voted for transparency. The fight isn’t over, the Legislature can still choose to create a short-term rental registry and several legislators mentioned interest in bringing back the registry once they weren’t rushed.

• Thank members who supported transparency
• Tell members who didn’t, that we need a registry
• Ask when they’ll bring registry for a vote.
We know AirBNB isn’t going to give up- so neither should we!
